# RichBook vs ReadAura

The clearest difference is ads: ReadAura at none against RichBook's shown. ReadAura also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 7 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RichBook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ReadAura sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RichBook ships an update every 7 months, ReadAura every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
