# InstaSize vs Magic Crop

The clearest difference is rating: InstaSize at 4.7 against Magic Crop's 3.8. InstaSize also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (327K vs 12). Magic Crop's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 58%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. InstaSize sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Magic Crop sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

InstaSize holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: InstaSize has 327K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of InstaSize's written reviews are positive against 100% of Magic Crop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

InstaSize ships an update every 10 days, Magic Crop every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
