# CB vs Anjel

The clearest difference is rating: Anjel at 4.2 against CB's 2.3. Anjel also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 46%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 26.0). CB's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and ratings volume (64 vs 19). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CB sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and Anjel sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 2 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Anjel holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 64 and 19 respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of CB's written reviews are positive against 75% of Anjel's.

CB ships an update fortnightly, Anjel monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
