# CB vs Morse Chat

The clearest difference is rating: Morse Chat at 4.7 against CB's 2.3. Morse Chat also leads on review sentiment (74% vs 46%) and ratings volume (486 vs 63). CB's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CB sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and Morse Chat sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Morse Chat holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Morse Chat has 486 ratings behind it against 63, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 46% of CB's written reviews are positive against 74% of Morse Chat's.

CB ships an update fortnightly, Morse Chat every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
