# CB vs TimbrTV

The clearest difference is rating: TimbrTV at 5.0 against CB's 2.3. TimbrTV also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). CB's advantage is ratings volume (63 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CB sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 3 months and TimbrTV sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TimbrTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CB has 63 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

CB ships an update fortnightly, TimbrTV every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
