# Counting Together! vs Ready Math

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Counting Together! at 100% against Ready Math's 29%. Counting Together! also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Ready Math's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (712 vs 9). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Counting Together! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ready Math sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ready Math holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ready Math has 712 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Counting Together!'s written reviews are positive against 29% of Ready Math's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Counting Together! ships an update every 3 weeks, Ready Math every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
