# Auto Express vs Classic Tractor

The clearest difference is monetization model: Classic Tractor at free with in-app purchases against Auto Express's subscription. Classic Tractor also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.4) and iOS requirement (11.2 vs 17.0). Auto Express's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 31 months) and ratings volume (16 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Auto Express sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $19.49 per 3 months and Classic Tractor sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Classic Tractor holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Auto Express has 16 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Auto Express ships an update every 2 months, Classic Tractor every 31 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
