# Lumosity vs Mind Boost

The clearest difference is rating: Lumosity at 4.7 against Mind Boost's 1.0. Lumosity also leads on ratings volume (131K vs 1) and chart position (#86 vs unranked). Mind Boost's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lumosity sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Mind Boost sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lumosity holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lumosity has 131K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
