# Lumosity vs Amnext Academy

The clearest difference is ads: Amnext Academy at none against Lumosity's shown. Lumosity's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 7 months) and chart position (#79 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lumosity sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Amnext Academy sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
