# Lumosity vs Peak

Lumosity and Peak both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 79% of Lumosity's written reviews are positive against 64% of Peak's. Lumosity also leads on chart position (#88 vs unranked) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lumosity sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Peak sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Lumosity against 4.7 for Peak. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 131K and 146K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 79% of Lumosity's written reviews are positive against 64% of Peak's.
