# Fingercheck Mobile vs StaffLion

The clearest difference is rating: Fingercheck Mobile at 4.7 against StaffLion's 2.7. Fingercheck Mobile also leads on ratings volume (8K vs 7) and update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly). StaffLion's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 44%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fingercheck Mobile holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fingercheck Mobile has 8K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 44% of Fingercheck Mobile's written reviews are positive against 67% of StaffLion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fingercheck Mobile ships an update fortnightly, StaffLion monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
