# History Log vs ElectroFriend

The clearest difference is update cadence: ElectroFriend at every 8 days against History Log's every 6 months. History Log's advantage is iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. History Log sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and ElectroFriend sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
