# VyprVPN vs Hyper VPN

The clearest difference is update cadence: Hyper VPN at every 2 weeks against VyprVPN's every 4 months. Hyper VPN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). VyprVPN's advantage is ratings volume (25K vs 1) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VyprVPN sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Hyper VPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Hyper VPN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VyprVPN has 25K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VyprVPN ships an update every 4 months, Hyper VPN every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
