# Steve Madden vs Dillard's

Steve Madden and Dillard's both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 38% of Steve Madden's written reviews are positive against 23% of Dillard's's. Steve Madden also leads on ratings volume (39K vs 4K) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). Dillard's's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Steve Madden holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Steve Madden has 39K ratings behind it against 4K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 38% of Steve Madden's written reviews are positive against 23% of Dillard's's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
