# Alien DVR Client HD vs Daily Notes Planner 3

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daily Notes Planner 3 at 60% against Alien DVR Client HD's 15%. Daily Notes Planner 3 also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (27 vs 1). Alien DVR Client HD's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Notes Planner 3 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Alien DVR Client HD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alien DVR Client HD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Daily Notes Planner 3 has 27 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Alien DVR Client HD's written reviews are positive against 60% of Daily Notes Planner 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
