# Drwer vs Encryptor

The clearest difference is rating: Drwer at 4.6 against Encryptor's 4.0. Drwer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 5) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.6). Encryptor's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Encryptor sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Drwer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Drwer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 29 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 51% of Drwer's written reviews are positive against 57% of Encryptor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Drwer ships an update every 4 months, Encryptor fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
