# ASD Tools for Autism vs Fun Routine

The clearest difference is monetization model: Fun Routine at free with in-app purchases against ASD Tools for Autism's subscription. Fun Routine also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.8). ASD Tools for Autism's advantage is review sentiment (62% vs 42%) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.0). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ASD Tools for Autism sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Fun Routine sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fun Routine holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 33 and 28 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of ASD Tools for Autism's written reviews are positive against 42% of Fun Routine's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ASD Tools for Autism ships an update every 2 months, Fun Routine every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
