# Vector vs Flippy Knife

The clearest difference is rating: Vector at 4.8 against Flippy Knife's 4.6. Vector also leads on chart position (#100 vs unranked). Flippy Knife's advantage is review sentiment (73% vs 63%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vector sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and Flippy Knife sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Vector holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 37K and 36K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of Vector's written reviews are positive against 73% of Flippy Knife's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
