# Vector vs FairNSQUARE

Vector and FairNSQUARE both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of FairNSQUARE's written reviews are positive against 63% of Vector's. FairNSQUARE also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 11) and ads (none vs shown). Vector's advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 45 months) and ratings volume (37K vs 1). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Vector sells 11 one-off in-app purchases. FairNSQUARE asks for nothing beyond the download.

FairNSQUARE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Vector has 37K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 63% of Vector's written reviews are positive against 100% of FairNSQUARE's.
