# Musely vs J.Crew

The clearest difference is rating: Musely at 4.7 against J.Crew's 3.1. Musely also leads on review sentiment (82% vs 48%) and ratings volume (24K vs 910). J.Crew's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Musely holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musely has 24K ratings behind it against 910, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 82% of Musely's written reviews are positive against 48% of J.Crew's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
