# 상어이야기 vs Shark Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: Shark Countdown at every 6 months against 상어이야기's every 27 months. 상어이야기's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

상어이야기 ships an update every 27 months, Shark Countdown every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
