# eMODAT vs Pager

The clearest difference is update cadence: Pager at every 2 days against eMODAT's fortnightly. Pager also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

eMODAT ships an update fortnightly, Pager every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
