# MileIQ vs WorkClock

The clearest difference is ads: WorkClock at none against MileIQ's shown. WorkClock also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 87%). MileIQ's advantage is ratings volume (115K vs 26) and chart position (#1 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MileIQ sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and WorkClock sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for MileIQ against 4.9 for WorkClock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MileIQ has 115K ratings behind it against 26, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 87% of MileIQ's written reviews are positive against 100% of WorkClock's.

MileIQ ships an update every 11 days, WorkClock fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
