# Meeting Notepad vs Notepad

The clearest difference is rating: Notepad at 4.8 against Meeting Notepad's 2.7. Notepad also leads on update cadence (every 8 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (29K vs 3). Meeting Notepad's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 18.0). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meeting Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notepad sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notepad has 29K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
