# Meeting Notepad vs Notebook

The clearest difference is rating: Notebook at 4.7 against Meeting Notepad's 2.7. Notebook also leads on update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (24K vs 3). Meeting Notepad's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 64%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Meeting Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notebook sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notebook has 24K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Meeting Notepad's written reviews are positive against 64% of Notebook's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Meeting Notepad ships an update every 4 months, Notebook every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
