# KCTCS vs CU Central

The clearest difference is rating: KCTCS at 4.8 against CU Central's 4.5. KCTCS also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 336). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KCTCS holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KCTCS has 3.2K ratings behind it against 336, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of KCTCS's written reviews are positive against 92% of CU Central's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
