# KCTCS vs VisionWorks

The clearest difference is update cadence: KCTCS at every 6 weeks against VisionWorks's every 21 months. KCTCS also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 2). VisionWorks's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VisionWorks holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KCTCS has 3.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

KCTCS ships an update every 6 weeks, VisionWorks every 21 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
