# Chomper Chums® vs Colgate Magik

The clearest difference is update cadence: Colgate Magik at every 2 months against Chomper Chums®'s every 23 months. Colgate Magik also leads on ratings volume (1.6K vs 24) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Chomper Chums®'s advantage is review sentiment (69% vs 44%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Colgate Magik holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Colgate Magik has 1.6K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Chomper Chums®'s written reviews are positive against 44% of Colgate Magik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chomper Chums® ships an update every 23 months, Colgate Magik every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
