# Interrail Rail Planner vs BudapestGO

The clearest difference is monetization model: BudapestGO at free against Interrail Rail Planner's free with in-app purchases. BudapestGO also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Interrail Rail Planner's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (1.6K vs 153). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 2.8 for Interrail Rail Planner against 2.9 for BudapestGO. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Interrail Rail Planner has 1.6K ratings behind it against 153, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 24% of Interrail Rail Planner's written reviews are positive against 20% of BudapestGO's.
