# Yeni Şafak vs İDDEF

The clearest difference is rating: Yeni Şafak at 3.7 against İDDEF's 3.0. Yeni Şafak also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks) and ratings volume (13 vs 2). İDDEF's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 36%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Yeni Şafak holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Yeni Şafak has 13 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Yeni Şafak's written reviews are positive against 67% of İDDEF's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Yeni Şafak ships an update every 2 weeks, İDDEF every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
