# Web.TV vs Timekettle

The clearest difference is rating: Timekettle at 2.9 against Web.TV's 1.0. Timekettle also leads on ratings volume (495 vs 3). Web.TV's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (53% vs 25%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timekettle sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Web.TV asks for nothing beyond the download.

Timekettle holds the better App Store score, 2.9 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Timekettle has 495 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Web.TV's written reviews are positive against 25% of Timekettle's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Web.TV ships an update fortnightly, Timekettle every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
