# Bass Pro Shops vs Local Blast

Bass Pro Shops and Local Blast both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Local Blast's written reviews are positive against 65% of Bass Pro Shops's. Local Blast also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bass Pro Shops's advantage is ratings volume (48K vs 1) and chart position (#150 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Bass Pro Shops against 5.0 for Local Blast. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bass Pro Shops has 48K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
