# The Melt vs Chicken Lisa's

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Chicken Lisa's at 100% against The Melt's 47%. Chicken Lisa's also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). The Melt's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

The Melt holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Melt has 3.3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of The Melt's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chicken Lisa's's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Melt ships an update weekly, Chicken Lisa's fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
