# Finexam vs Flint

The clearest difference is update cadence: Flint at every 4 days against Finexam's every 3 weeks. Finexam's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Finexam sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year and Flint sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Finexam ships an update every 3 weeks, Flint every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on September 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
