# Ajit vs Punjabi Newspapers

The clearest difference is rating: Punjabi Newspapers at 5.0 against Ajit's 3.3. Punjabi Newspapers also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Ajit's advantage is review sentiment (33% vs 0%) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 16 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Punjabi Newspapers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ajit has 24 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Ajit's written reviews are positive against 0% of Punjabi Newspapers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ajit ships an update every 5 weeks, Punjabi Newspapers every 16 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
