# Big Day vs Digital Clock

The clearest difference is price: Digital Clock at Free against Big Day's $3.99. Digital Clock also leads on rating (4.6 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (69K vs 81). Big Day's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On review sentiment, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Digital Clock is free to download; Big Day costs $3.99 up front. Big Day sells 9 one-off in-app purchases and Digital Clock sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Digital Clock holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 69K ratings behind it against 81, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Big Day's written reviews are positive against 67% of Digital Clock's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Big Day ships an update every 5 weeks, Digital Clock fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 18, 2026.
