# Sci vs Innerstellar

The clearest difference is rating: Sci at 5.0 against Innerstellar's 4.0. Innerstellar's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 months vs every 26 months). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sci sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Innerstellar sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sci holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Innerstellar has 10 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Sci ships an update every 26 months, Innerstellar every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
