# Tesla vs NYIS

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NYIS at 100% against Tesla's 61%. NYIS also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). Tesla's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (126K vs 18). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NYIS holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tesla has 126K ratings behind it against 18, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Tesla's written reviews are positive against 100% of NYIS's.

Tesla ships an update every 2 weeks, NYIS every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
