# BJA Blackjack Trainer vs HalfLife Kinetics

The clearest difference is rating: BJA Blackjack Trainer at 4.6 against HalfLife Kinetics's 4.1. BJA Blackjack Trainer also leads on ratings volume (854 vs 8). HalfLife Kinetics's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BJA Blackjack Trainer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and HalfLife Kinetics sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BJA Blackjack Trainer holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BJA Blackjack Trainer has 854 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of BJA Blackjack Trainer's written reviews are positive against 100% of HalfLife Kinetics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BJA Blackjack Trainer ships an update every 2 months, HalfLife Kinetics fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
