# Santa Tracker vs PL Detector

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Santa Tracker at none against PL Detector's 4. Santa Tracker also leads on ratings volume (12 vs 2). PL Detector's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 12 months). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PL Detector sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Santa Tracker asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.0 for Santa Tracker against 3.0 for PL Detector. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Santa Tracker has 12 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
