# Transavia vs OpenFly

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Transavia at 4.3K against OpenFly's 4. Transavia also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). OpenFly's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 35%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Transavia against 4.8 for OpenFly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transavia has 4.3K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 35% of Transavia's written reviews are positive against 50% of OpenFly's.

Transavia ships an update every 3 weeks, OpenFly every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
