# ElfYourself® vs Santa Tracker

The clearest difference is update cadence: ElfYourself® at fortnightly against Santa Tracker's every 3 months. Santa Tracker's advantage is ratings volume (106K vs 28K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElfYourself® sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and Santa Tracker sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ElfYourself® holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 28K and 106K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 66% of ElfYourself®'s written reviews are positive against 71% of Santa Tracker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ElfYourself® ships an update fortnightly, Santa Tracker every 3 months. Both last shipped on November 4, 2026.
