# ElfYourself® vs Xmas Dance

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ElfYourself® at 66% against Xmas Dance's 19%. ElfYourself® also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 12 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElfYourself® sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and Xmas Dance sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ElfYourself® holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ElfYourself® has 28K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of ElfYourself®'s written reviews are positive against 19% of Xmas Dance's.

ElfYourself® ships an update fortnightly, Xmas Dance every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
