# ElfYourself® vs Team Freeze

The clearest difference is rating: ElfYourself® at 4.8 against Team Freeze's 4.1. ElfYourself® also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 34) and review sentiment (66% vs 50%). Team Freeze's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElfYourself® sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per year and Team Freeze sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ElfYourself® holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ElfYourself® has 28K ratings behind it against 34, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 66% of ElfYourself®'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Team Freeze's.

ElfYourself® ships an update fortnightly, Team Freeze every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
