# Solocator vs My GPS Coordinates °

The clearest difference is price: My GPS Coordinates ° at Free against Solocator's $0.99. My GPS Coordinates ° also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). My GPS Coordinates ° is free to download; Solocator costs $0.99 up front. Solocator sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and My GPS Coordinates ° sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

My GPS Coordinates ° holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 423 and 2.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Solocator's written reviews are positive against 40% of My GPS Coordinates °'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
