# Deko vs VideoBookcasePlus

The clearest difference is update cadence: VideoBookcasePlus at every 5 days against Deko's monthly. Deko's advantage is iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Deko sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and VideoBookcasePlus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Deko ships an update monthly, VideoBookcasePlus every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
