# Rocket Video Cast vs AirWeb

The clearest difference is price: AirWeb at Free against Rocket Video Cast's $1.99. AirWeb also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3). Rocket Video Cast's advantage is review sentiment (81% vs 41%) and ratings volume (956 vs 9). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

AirWeb is free to download; Rocket Video Cast costs $1.99 up front. Rocket Video Cast sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AirWeb sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

AirWeb holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rocket Video Cast has 956 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 81% of Rocket Video Cast's written reviews are positive against 41% of AirWeb's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rocket Video Cast ships an update every 2 months, AirWeb every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
