# True Mirror! vs Refocus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Refocus at 93% against True Mirror!'s 49%. Refocus also leads on rating (4.8 vs 2.4) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). True Mirror!'s advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. True Mirror! sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Refocus sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Refocus holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Refocus has 12K ratings behind it against 196, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 49% of True Mirror!'s written reviews are positive against 93% of Refocus's.

True Mirror! ships an update every 2 months, Refocus weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
