# Telekom vs HRTi OTT

The clearest difference is rating: HRTi OTT at 4.4 against Telekom's 3.5. HRTi OTT also leads on ratings volume (191 vs 12) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.6). Telekom's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HRTi OTT holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HRTi OTT has 191 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Telekom's written reviews are positive against 29% of HRTi OTT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
