# KODEX vs youni

The clearest difference is update cadence: youni at every 3 weeks against KODEX's every 8 months. KODEX's advantage is iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KODEX ships an update every 8 months, youni every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
